At UMIAMI, we’re all driven by the same mission: to help reduce meat consumption. For us, this is the best way to combat animal mistreatment, excess cholesterol and global warming. To achieve this, we have developed a unique texturing technology, umisation, which enables us to imitate the textures of different meats and fish, using only vegetable ingredients and without the use of texturizing agents!
Labelled Great Place to Work since November 2021, our team is currently made up of 60 people and is aiming for 120 employees by the end of 2023. In September 2023, the focus will be on large-scale industrialization, with the launch of our new production plant in Duppigheim, Alsace.
YOUR MAIN MISSION
Guaranteeing the ongoing optimization of all Umiami industrial processes in line with performance objectives in terms of health, safety, quality, food safety, hygiene and the environment.
Profile sought
Trained as an engineer or at Bac +5 level.
Mastery of automation and food production technologies and expert in this field.
Knowledge of OMAC standards.Knowledge of job-related instructions and procedures, particularly QHSE.
Good hygiene and manufacturing practices, quality procedures, food safety and safety risks related to the position.
You will have in-depth knowledge of instrumentation and automation, and be able to solve complex problems (Trouble Shooting).
Experience in automation project management, from 8 to 12 years, on industrial sites in the agri-food sector.
